Returning
I have been quiet and haven't been writing. I have made a lot of personal changes in my own life within the last year.
I have chosen to "come home"--back to my Faith, back to my roots, and back to where I am closer to Family.
Life for the past year for me has been a true roller coaster to say the least and many life lessons were learned.
But I am not here to speak about myself.
When it comes down to recent events pertaining to Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska I feel the need to speak.
I'll admit, I didn't know who Charlie Kirk was. I have done quite the research over the last few days and he was a brilliant man.
We are living in moments of chaos, confusion, and spiritual warfare — we are reminded that this battle is not merely political. It is moral. It is spiritual.
I want you to understand something very clearly: we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. This is what Scripture tells us. We wrestle against powers and principalities, against darkness in high places. And that is exactly what we are seeing play out in America right now.
Now more than ever the enemy is coming at us to cause further division. What next? Civil War between the left and the right?
The enemy loves causing chaos and distraction. Anything to deflect from God!
WE CAN'T LET THE ENEMY WIN.
But here’s the good news: God is not done with this country. He’s not done with you. We are not victims — we are vessels. We are instruments in His hands. And we are here for this for a reason.
Now is the time to get on your knees and pray. Pray for the sinners. Pray for the courage to stand up to the truth when you are mocked and slandered when you are standing on the word of God, and the demons try to tear you down.
Remember Christ did the same, and He did not bend.
Faith is not passive. Faith is active. We are called to spiritual warfare. We are called to be a light in the darkness.
This is our Faith being challenged. This is our morals being challenged. This isn't the end.
Who will speak truth even when it’s unpopular, who will stand for life, for marriage, for family, for freedom, and for God Himself?
The enemy wants us to be afraid to speak truth. As Christians we know the only one we need to fear is God alone and no man.
Where does your hope lie?
My hope is in Christ alone. In darkness there is light. We must seek out our Blessed Mother, Mary, to guide us closer to her Son. That we may become more like Him.
So keep the faith. Pray without ceasing. Speak truth in love — but never stop speaking it. Be bold. Speak the truth. Be charitable with your words.
Again, let’s go out and be bold — not because it’s easy, but because He is worthy.
And finally,
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
My heart goes out to out to the families that are suffering from these unnecessary violent tragedies. My prayers are with you during this difficult time and may God cradle you with comfort in His arms.
